One Dead, Two Injured in Rollover Accident on Twisp River Road [Twisp, WA]

Fatal Twisp Rollover Crash on Twisp River Road

 
TWISP, WA (July 24, 2023) — One died and two others sustained serious injuries after a rollover accident on Twisp River Road on Tuesday, July 18.
 
According to Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, they received reports of the incident at about 11:30 p.m.
 
The crash involved a Toyota Camry carrying four young adults in their 20s described as two men and two women.
 
According to Okanogan County Undersheriff Dave Yarnell, the car lost control while negotiating a curve. It then went off the road, overturned, and crashed into a tree.
 
Officers extricated all occupants from the vehicle. One of the women died at the scene.
 
The other woman and driver suffered severe spinal and neck injuries.
 
Emergency responders assessed the fourth passenger for injuries at the Aero Methow station and then they released him.
 
The incident is still under investigation. However, officers suspect alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
 
Washington State Patrol officers also responded to the scene to assist in the case.
