One Killed, Three Hurt in Hit-and-Run on North Tower Road

 
DENVER, CO (February 5, 2025) — One person died in a hit-and-run on North Tower Road on Saturday, February 1.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on North Tower Road, just north of Peña Boulevard.
 
Police said two vehicles were in an accident. However, one of them fled the scene before authorities arrived.
 
Emergency responders arrived and transported four individuals from the remaining vehicle to the hospital. One of them later died, while another sustained serious injuries. The conditions of the two other victims were not immediately available.
 
Following the crash, officials closed Tower Road near Peña Boulevard and the outbound off-ramp from Denver International Airport. They reopened the roads several hours later.
 
Authorities have not yet released a description of the vehicle that left the scene.
 
The Denver Police Department continues to investigate. They urge anyone with information to come forward.
