ARLINGTON, TX (March 13, 2023) – A man died after a multi-vehicle car crash on Interstate 20 near Center Street on Saturday, March 4.

According to the authorities, the crash happened around 3:00 a.m. on the westbound lanes of Interstate 20. Initial investigation detailed that a Yukon vehicle rear-ended an Avalon vehicle, which caused the Yukon to strike the concrete median and roll on its side.

A car behind both vehicles, described as a Sierra, crashed into the Yukon.

Medics took the unidentified Yukon driver to a hospital where he later died, police said. The victim was not wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.

Both drivers in the Avalon and Sierra sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities added that one of the drivers with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested after receiving treatment from the hospital.
