LAS VEGAS, NV (October 10, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on West Sahara Avenue on September 30.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at South Rancho Drive around 1:40 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the lanes.
 
Authorities did not release any information about what led up to the crash.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the incident. Medical personnel took the victim to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
 
The driver remained on the scene and police said impairment was not a factor.
