Nicholas Kazmar Killed in Tucson Motorcycle Accident on South Park Avenue

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 5, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department identified 49-year-old Nicholas Steven Kazmar who died in a motorcycle accident on South Park Avenue on January 30.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at East 22nd Street. Based on a report, Kazmar was driving a motorcycle in the curb lane on northbound Park Avenue.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a pick-up truck turned in front of him and caused a crash.
 
As a result, Kazmar suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. He was not wearing a helmet and had drugs and alcohol on his motorcycle.
 
The driver of the truck, 21-year-old Adrian Chavez, stopped and was not impaired. The TPD cited Chavez for causing death by a moving violation.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
