Nicaria Gordon-Johnson Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash on 40 Freeway

 
 LUDLOW, CA (July 2, 2024) — 21-year-old Nicaria Gordon-Johnson, of Houston, died in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday, June 1.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 2:10 a.m. on the westbound side of the remote stretch of 40 Freeway.
 
CHP said Gordon-Johnson was in a Nissan SUV rental vehicle that became disabled on the 40 Freeway near Ludlow. It was stopped on the right-hand side of the roadway.
 
But as arrangements were being made to move the vehicle, Gordon-Johnson went out of the vehicle. Then a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck fatally struck her.
