Pedestrian Injured in Reno Skateboard Accident on Mae Anne Avenue and Coit Plaza
RENO, NV (December 12, 2024) — One person sustained injuries after a skateboard accident on Mae Anne Avenue on Tuesday, December 3.
According to the Reno Police Department, the incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Mae Anne Avenue and Coit Plaza.
RPD said the pedestrian was skateboarding in a travel lane on Mae Anne Avenue. Then a vehicle hit the skateboarder.
Emergency responders brought the pedestrian to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
RPD does not suspect speed or impairment as a factor in the accident.
