Nathan Herrera Detained after Hit-and-Run on Nile Drive in Corpus Christi

 
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (December 12, 2024) – The Corpus Christi Police Department arrested 20-year-old Nathan Herrera following a hit-and-run on Nile Drive on December 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the 1500 block of the road. Based on a report, the suspect was driving a truck when he rammed into a building and fled the scene.
 
While investigating the crash, officers found a license plate left behind and determined it belonged to Herrera’s vehicle. That clue led them to his nearby residence less than two blocks away, where they found him.
 
Officers arrested Herrera for Duty on Striking Structure/Fixture, Failing to Identify, and Resisting Arrest. He was taken to the City Detention Center for booking while his truck was impounded.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
