Motorist Dies, Another Suffers Injuries After Carmichael Crash on Manzanita Avenue and Madison Avenue
CARMICHAEL, CA (February 20, 2025) – A motorist died while another sustained injuries following a crash on Manzanita Avenue and Madison Avenue on Saturday afternoon, February 15.
The fatal incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials stated that a sedan being driven by a man, described to be in his 30s, had run a red light, for reasons still undetermined.
The sedan then came in a collision course with a van, operated by a man described to be in his 20s.
The accident left the driver of the sedan dead.
Meanwhile, the motorist behind the wheels of the van survived but suffered minor injuries. He received medical transport to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still working on determining the cause and factors surrounding the crash.
As the investigation remains in progress, no additional information is released at this time.
