Rider Fatally Injured in Carefree Hit-and-Run on Cave Creek Road

 
CAREFREE, AZ (December 13, 2023) — A motorcycle rider died after a hit-and-run crash on Cave Creek Road on Sunday, December 10.
 
The fatal collision occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. near Cave Creek Road and Pima Road.
 
Paramedics transported the motorcycle rider to the hospital where he later died. Authorities have not yet released his name and only identified him as a man.
 
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the other vehicle involved, described as a pickup truck, fled the scene.
