Motorcyclist Dead in Two-Vehicle Accident on Meade Avenue and Sheridan Street

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 19, 2024) — A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle accident on Meade Avenue on Wednesday, November 6.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Meade Avenue and Sheridan Street.
 
LVMPD said that a 2011 Hyundai Elantra traveled west on Meade Avenue. At the same time, a 2019 Honda CRF1000 traveled east. Then the Hyundai prepared to make a left turn and went on the path of the motorcycle.
 
The front of the motorcycle struck the front left side of the Hyundai. It resulted in the death of the motorcycle rider. Meanwhile, the Hyundai driver sustained minor injuries.
 
Both vehicles also sustained major damage.
 
Police suspect impairment as a factor in the incident.
 
The fatal motorcycle crash marked the 132nd traffic-related death in the LVMPD Jurisdiction this year.
