Miguel Romero, Another Man Killed in Las Vegas Car Accident

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 29, 2024) — 54-year-old Miguel Romero and an unidentified victim died in a speeding car accident on Saturday, September 21.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred at about 4:29 p.m. at North Lamb Boulevard and Kell Lane.
 
Witness statements and evidence at the scene suggest a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali traveled northbound on Lamb Boulevard at a high rate of speed. At the same time, a 2008 Nissan Sentra was stopped at a stop sign on Kell Lane.
 
The Nissan then tried to cross North Lamb Boulevard. Then a GMC subsequently hit it on the driver’s side.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the area. They pronounced the 67-year-old driver of the Nissan and the 54-year-old passenger dead at the scene.
 
The Clark County Coroner’s office identified the passenger as Romero. Police have not yet identified the 67-year-old man at this time.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the 16-year-old driver of the GMC and the 11-year-old passenger in his vehicle to University Medical Center.
 
The fatalities mark the 109th and 110th traffic-related deaths in LVMPD’s jurisdiction this 2024.
