Mary Frankum Killed in Wittman Pickup Truck Accident on Highway 60 and Dove Valley Road

 
WITTMANN, AZ (October 22, 2024) — 64-year-old Mary Ellen Frankum, of Wittmann, died in a pickup truck accident on Saturday, October 5.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the two-vehicle accident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. near Highway 60 and Dove Valley Road.
 
DPS said a Dodge pickup truck hauling a trailer with two horses moved east on Highway 60. Then it crashed into a red Nissan Titan pickup truck at the intersection of Center Street.
 
A passenger in the Nissan Titan suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, two other people in the Nissan Titan suffered serious injuries.
 
Authorities turned over the horses in the trailer to another party.
 
According to DPS, they continue to investigate the incident for possible DUI.
