Manh Thach Dead, Four Others Hurt in Car Crash on 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road

 
PEORIA, AZ (December 5, 2023) — One person identified as 58-year-old Manh Thach of Glendale died in a car crash on Saturday, November 11.
 
According to the Peoria police, they responded to the area near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road shortly before midnight.
 
Police believe that Thach drove a Toyota 4-Runner southbound on 67th Avenue. Then he crossed the center lane lines and collided head-on into a Honda CRV.
 
When officers arrived, they discovered Thach with significant injuries. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he later died.
 
Emergency responders rushed four people in the Honda to the hospital. The driver suffered serious injuries and the other three passengers inside the Honda had minor injuries.
 
Peoria Police says there were no arrests made or citations issued after the incident.
 
Authorities closed the intersection throughout the night but reopened it shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
 
The Peoria Police Department Traffic Services Unit continues to investigate the crash.
