Three Hospitalized after DUI Accident on Highway 2

 
DAVENPORT, WA (May 16, 2024) — Three people sustained injuries in a DUI crash on Highway 2 on Friday, May 3.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 2 at around 8:56 p.m.
 
WSP said a car driven by a 63-year-old from Kennewick moved eastbound on Highway 2. Then it crashed with another vehicle occupied by an 18-year-old driver and a 13-year-old passenger moving westbound on the highway.
 
The man’s car overturned. At the same time, the other car came to a rest on the side of the roadway.
 
Emergency services airlifted the man to Sacred Heart Medical Hospital. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the two teens to Lincoln Medical Hospital. The extent of their current conditions is not available.
 
WSP said the man could face charges of two counts of vehicular assault. In addition, they said he was drunk when the accident happened.
