PHOENIX, AZ (April 23, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a man suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on 27th Avenue on April 5.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Indian School Road around 9:45 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the pedestrian in the lanes.
 
Police said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene before they arrived at the scene.
 
As a result, the man suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
