BELLEVUE, WA (October 4, 2023) — A man suffered fatal injuries in a suspected DUI crash on 108th Avenue Northeast on Saturday, September 30.
 
Bellevue Police and Fire responded to reports of a solo vehicle accident at around 4:10 a.m. on Saturday.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a car that crashed and overturned on 108th Avenue Northeast near the interchange with Highway 520.
 
According to police, they found the passenger dead from sustained injuries in the accident.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the 26-year-old driver from Bellevue to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
Police suspect alcohol contributed as a factor in this crash.
 
Officials closed 108th Avenue for some time on Saturday while crews cleared the scene.
