Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Colfax Avenue in Aurora
AURORA, CO (October 10, 2024) – The Aurora Police Department confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on Colfax Avenue on October 5.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at Macon Street around 12:30 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim in the lanes.
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries in the incident. Crews transported him to the hospital, where he later died. The Adams County Coroner’s Office did not release his identity, pending notification of next of kin.
The crash closed westbound Colfax Avenue between Macon Street and Lima Street.
Police said investigators are working to determine what led up to the crash.
