Motorcycle and School Bus Involved in Fatal Accident on Litchfield Road in Glendale

 
GLENDALE, AZ (September 16, 2024) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed a man died in a motorcycle accident on Litchfield Road on September 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Claremont Street around 3:15 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving his motorcycle near the intersection.
 
Prior to the crash, he attempted to avoid crashing into another vehicle. Subsequently, he collided with a moving bus.
As a result, the rider suffered grave injuries and died moments later. Authorities did not release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews closed Litchfield Road from Bethany Home Road to Glendale Avenue through the evening on that day.
