Man Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (January 10, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a man died in a hit-and-run on Cave Creek Road on January 2.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Greenway Road around 10:00 PM. Based on a report, a northbound vehicle struck the victim and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries and died at the hospital. Authorities did not release his name, but it is pending notification of next of kin.
 
Officials did not describe the vehicle that hit the pedestrian. They ask anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish. Police say rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
