WILLIAMS, CA (February 16, 2025) — A man died following a crash on Interstate 5 on Sunday afternoon, February 9.

The fatal incident occurred at the Husted Road off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol which responded to the scene at around 1:00 p.m.

Authorities stated that a Toyota Highlander being driven by a 72-year-old San Francisco man had figured in an accident as it drifted off to the right shoulder.

The male driver of the Highlander then overcorrected before overturning.

The collision left the motorist dead at a hospital, where his passenger would also be transported for further medical attention.

Officials are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the crash.

As the investigation remains in progress, no further information is released at this time.
