COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 7, 2024) — A man sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on East Kiowa Street on Sunday, September 29.
 
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Kiowa Street and North Tejon Street.
 
An initial investigation determined that the motorcyclist traveled southbound on North Tejon Street. Then they crashed with a pedestrian crossing North Tejon Street in the crosswalk.
 
Emergency responders brought the pedestrian to a local hospital where he received treatment. There were no reports on the extent of his injuries.
 
CSPD said they closed the intersection lanes for about an hour following the incident.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the accident. No charges were filed against either party.
