AURORA, CO (January 3, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on South Chambers Road on Thursday, December 19.
 
According to the Aurora Police Department, the accident occurred on South Chambers Road just south of East Iliff Avenue at around 10:00 p.m.
 
Aurora Police said they discovered that a man tried to cross South Chambers Road in traffic. Then a sedan struck him. Emergency responders transported him to the hospital where medical officers pronounced him dead.
 
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased man pending family notification.
 
The sedan driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said there are no expected charges in the case.
