Pedestrian Killed in Denver Hit-and-Run on East Colfax Avenue and Ogden Street

 
DENVER, CO (July 18, 2024) — A man suffered fatal injuries after a hit-and-run on East Colfax Avenue on Tuesday, June 25.
 
According to the Denver Police, the happened at around 11:15 a.m. near East Colfax Avenue and Ogden Street.
 
Denver Police said a woman drove a 2016 Dodge Caravan and then struck a man near East Colfax Avenue.
 
After the incident, she stopped briefly and then fled the scene.
 
The man died from sustained injuries in the accident. His identity was not immediately available pending notification of loved ones.
 
According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, they found the suspect vehicle shortly after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. It has a Montana license plate with the plate number 2-99798B.
 
Police shared photos of the suspect driver. In addition, they said the Hispanic and a white woman wore a pink tank top and sunglasses when the crash occurred. She is still at large.
