Luis Vitales Identified in Fatal Car Accident in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (October 11, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 24-year-old Luis Vitales who died in a red-light accident on 35th Avenue on October 8.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Roosevelt Street around 2:15 AM. Based on a report, Vitales was driving a small white SUV near the intersection prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he ran the red light at 35th Avenue and crashed into a red vehicle.
 
As a result, Vitales suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Two women were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.
