Linda Reed Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Texarkana

 
TEXARKANA, TX (December 28, 2023) – The Texarkana Texas Police Department identified 66-year-old Linda Reed who died in a multi-vehicle crash on East 9th Street on December 18.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 7:20 PM. Based on a report, Reed was driving west on East 9th Street and was trying to cross Stateline Avenue when the crash happened.
 
Police said she collided with two other cars headed south on Stateline Avenue.
 
As a result, Reed suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
All three cars sustained damage.
 
Police did not state if speeding was a factor.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
