Kenneth Thornhill III Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Corpus Christi

 
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (October 19, 2023) – The Nueces County Sheriff’s Department identified 34-year-old Kenneth Wayne Thornhill III who died in a hit-and-run on County Road 26 on October 12.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at County Road 49A just after 6:00 AM. Based on a report, officers found Thornhill down on the road.
 
They said the victim had injuries that were consistent from a pedestrian accident. The vehicle involved fled the scene.
 
As a result, Thornhill sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
DPS is asking anyone with information about the accident to call 361-698-5600.
