AUSTIN, TX (January 10, 2025) — Kendra Dorby Mottley and another died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, December 24.
 
According to the Austin Police Department, the incident occurred on Highway 290 near Creekside Drive a little after 8:30 p.m.
 
Austin Police said a motorcycle struck a pedestrian in the 6800 block of westbound lanes of Highway 290.
 
Emergency responders arrived in the area. Both the motorcyclist and pedestrian received treatment at the scene with critical injuries. However, they still succumbed to their injuries and officials eventually pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
Officials identified the 44-year-old motorcyclist as Kendra Dorby Mottley. Meanwhile, the identity of the other victim was not immediately available.
