Suspect Kelon Wilson Sought for Humble Hit-and-Run Fatality

 
HUMBLE, TX (August 22, 2024) — Officers continue to search for hit-and-run suspect Kelon Wilson following the fatal incident on Monday, July 29.
 
Authorities responded to the 20800 block of Lee Road after receiving reports of the crash. When they arrived at the scene, they found a pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
 
Investigators later checked the security footage from a nearby business. It then cleared up what happened during the incident. The hit-and-run actually happened the previous night and involved a blue 2020 Dodge Challenger.
 
The crash went unreported until a passerby found the victim the next morning.
 
Authorities identified the suspect as Kelon Wilson. He is wanted for failure to stop and render aid resulting in death. Authorities have also issued a no-bond order.
 
Officials ask anyone with information on Wilson’s whereabouts to call the Harris County Constable’s Office.
