Kasia Richter Arrested in DUI Crash on 22nd Avenue Court at 23rd Street Place [Puyallup, WA]

81-Year-Old Injured, Kasia Richter Charged in Car Crashes into Puyallup House

 
PUYALLUP, WA (August 2, 2023) – Puyallup police arrested Kasia Richter following a DUI crash on 22nd Avenue SE on July 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 23rd Street Pl SE around 5:22 AM. Based on a report, Richter was driving a Hyundai Accent when the vehicle went off the road.
 
Subsequently, the car crashed into a home.
 
As a result, a door landed on top of an 81-year-old woman who was sleeping at the time of the crash. She suffered broken bones but is now in stable condition.
 
An officer observed a small clear plastic baggie containing white residue on the driver’s side floorboard. Officers arrested and booked Richter into Pierce County Jail on suspected vehicular assault-DUI and driving while in suspended or revoked status.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
