Justin Beltran, Jena-Marie Ortiz Identified in Fatal Car Crash on Highway 339 in Yerington

 
YERINGTON, NV (March 3, 2025) – Authorities identified 24-year-old Justin Beltran of Montclair, California and 23-year-old Jena-Marie Ortiz of La Verne, California who died in a crash on Highway 339 on February 15.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened just before 11:00 AM in Lyon County. Based on a report, Beltran was driving a 2017 Honda Civic with Ortiz south on the highway before the incident.
 
At the same time, a 2018 Chrysler 300 was traveling north. Due to unknown reasons, the driver of the Chrysler crossed the highway centerline and crashed into the Honda Civic.
 
As a result, both Beltran and Ortiz suffered grave injuries and died in the crash.
 
The driver of the Chrysler, along with the driver and passenger of the Honda, were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
