PHOENIX, AZ (February 28, 2023) – Phoenix police identified 31-year-old Juan Bazan as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on 7th Avenue on February 25.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Elwood Street around 1:35 AM. Based on a report, Bazan was crossing the street mid-block at the time of the crash.
 
Subsequently, police said a driver struck and left him at the scene.
 
As a result, officers found Bazan dead at the scene alongside other evidence of the crash.
 
Early investigations identified the vehicle as a white-colored passenger car. As of now, officers ask anyone with information about the driver to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness.
