Joseph Nichols Dies after Las Vegas Motorcycle Crash near Las Vegas Motor Speedway

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 15, 2022) — Joseph Nichols died following a motorcycle accident near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Tuesday afternoon, October 18.

The fatal incident happened around 4:00 p.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Checkered Flag Lane, according to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol.

Authorities said a silver car drove north on Las Vegas Boulevard approaching the intersection with Checkered Flag Lane. The car then turned left and failed to yield in front of the southbound black motorcycle, driven by 24-year-old Nichols.

Nichols ended up crashing his motorcycle into the right side of the car.

The force of impact inflicted fatal injuries to Nichols, who ejected from his bike and died at the scene.

No other information is available. However, the factors surrounding the crash remain under investigation at this time.
