Jose Jimenez Dies after Solano County Crash at Robben Road and Vaughn Road

 
SOLANO COUNTY, CA (October 12, 2022) — Jose Jimenez, a 34-year-old Woodland man, died following a crash near Robben Road and Vaughn Road on Monday morning, October 10.

According to the California Highway Patrol-Solano, the fatal collision occurred around 7:00 a.m. and involved a semi tractor-trailer and a Chevrolet sedan.

Authorities said the semi-truck traveled southbound on Robben Road when it broadsided the Chevrolet heading west on Vaughn Road.

The force of impact propelled the Chevrolet through the intersection before it overturned in an orchard.

Jimenez, an occupant of the Chevrolet, succumbed from fatal injuries. Based on reports, it is unclear if he died at the scene or at a hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the semi tractor-trailer emerged from the incident unharmed.
