Jonny Fowler Fatally Struck, Michael Davis Arrested After Shepherd Hit-and-Run

 
SHEPHERD, TX (February 20, 2025) – Jonny Fowler died while Michael Davis was arrested following a hit-and-run on Farm to Market Road 3460 on Saturday evening, February 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident happened around 6:50 p.m. It involved a lawn mower towing a small trailer and a 2001 Cadillac passenger car.
 
Reports revealed that the lawn mower and the Cadillac were heading south when the latter struck the former.
 
63-year-old Fowler, the driver of the lawn mower, died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Cadillac, 54-year-old Davis was arrested under charges of failure to stop and render aid causing injury or death.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
