Tow Truck Driver Jesus Rodriguez Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on 635 Freeway in Dallas
DALLAS, TX (January 22, 2025) – Dallas Police identified Jesus Rodriguez who suffered injuries in a hit-and-run on 635 Freeway on December 29.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Midway Road shortly before 8:00 PM. Based on a report, Rodriguez was loading up a vehicle on a tow truck before the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle veered into the shoulder and hit him. He said he was struck on his legs.
Rodriguez’s dash cam video captured the sound of the collision and a quick glimpse of a dark-colored vehicle with no tail lights. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
With his injuries, Rodriguez was in the hospital for two weeks with screws and a rod in his legs.
