Jeffrey White Identified in Kittitas County Car Accident on 90 Freeway

 
KITTITAS COUNTY, WA (August 12, 2024) — A 44-year-old driver identified as Jeffrey White died in a car accident on Saturday, July 27.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on 90 Freeway, 15 miles west of Ellensburg, at about 2:30 a.m.
 
WSP said White drove off the westbound lane on the 90 Freeway. Then it hit an embankment and canal wall before the vehicle landed on its top.
 
When officials responded to the scene, White and the two-year-old passenger died. Paramedics brought the five-year-old to Harborview Medical Center.
 
WSP confirmed that all the occupants of the vehicle wore their seatbelts.
 
According to investigators, they have not yet determined if impairment contributed as a factor.
 
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
