Jayson London Hospitalized after Car Crash on Farm-to-Market 1007 [Brookeland, TX]

Jayson London Seriously Injured, Christopher Wood Involved in Brookeland Car Crash

 
BROOKELAND, TX (November 14, 2022) – Jayson London had to be extricated from his vehicle following a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market 1007.

The Texas Department of Public Safety went to the scene around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sam Rayburn Parkway and Farm-to-Market 1007.

A 2013 Hyundai Elantra was driving westbound, while the 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Sam Rayburn Parkway. The pickup attempted to make a turn onto Farm-to-Market 1007 when it crashed into the Elantra head-on.

Rayburn Firefighters and other responders had to use the Jaws-of-Life to rescue the occupant of the car, identified as 25-year-old London from Jasper.

Initially, responders thought London only sustained a broken leg, but discovered he had serious head and internal injuries. Responders transported London to St. Elizabeth Hospital via airlift.

The truck driver did not sustain any injuries. Police identified him as 20-year-old Christopher Wood of Hemphill.

No other information is known at this time.
