Jason Wagner Killed in Car Accident on Highway 2 [Index

 
INDEX, WA (November 2, 2023) – Officers identified 38-year-old Jason Wagner of Everett who died in a car accident on Highway 2 on October 17.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at mile post 36. Based on a report, Wagner was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer west on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the Chevy left the road to the right and crashed into a tree.
 
As a result, Wagner sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Police said a man and a woman in the vehicle sustained injuries. Crews transported them to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
 
After the crash, crews closed both directions of the highway for more than six hours.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
