Jasmine Lewis Dead, Three Injured in Car Crash on President George Bush Turnpike [Carrollton, TX]

Jasmine Lewis Killed; Kiara Frazier, King Martin and Devvyn Eddington Hurt in Carrollton Car Accident

 
CARROLLTON, TX (January 16, 2024) — A 19-year-old woman identified as Jasmine Lewis of Arlington died in a car crash on Sunday, January 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at about 1:15 a.m. troopers rushed to the accident at the intersection of the President George Bush Turnpike near Belt Line Road.
 
The initial investigation said a vehicle driven by Jasmine was in a single-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes and her car became disabled. DPS says Lewis went out of the car. Then an SUV, driven by 28-year-old Kiara Frazier, of Grand Prairie, struck her. Frazier’s SUV also crashed into Lewis’ vehicle.
 
Officers pronounced Lewis dead at the scene.
 
A passenger in Lewis’ car, identified as 18-year-old King Martin, of Grand Prairie, suffered minor injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed Frazier and her passenger identified as 33-year-old Devvyn Eddington, of Longview, to a Las Colinas hospital with minor injuries.
