DENVER, CO (September 3, 2024) — Authorities arrested 32-year-old Jared Martin after a fatal two-vehicle accident on Saturday, August 24.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the crash occurred on 25 Freeway near 20th Street around 3:30 a.m.
 
Denver Police said a Jeep Wrangler and a Chevrolet Tahoe collided on the freeway. They confirmed that one person died on the scene. However, they have not released the victim’s identity, which is pending family notification.
 
Reports also said that paramedics transported another person to the hospital. Yet, the extent of their injuries was unknown.
 
Authorities closed all southbound lanes of the Freeway between 70 Freeway and Exit 213 for Park Avenue around 4:00 a.m. until before 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
 
Reports later said officers arrested Martin on Monday for vehicular homicide.
