PHOENIX, AZ (October 8, 2024) — A 28-year-old woman, Janae Levine, died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, September 21.
 
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash took place on 32nd Street and Thomas Road at around 2:30 p.m.
 
Phoenix police said their initial investigation determined that the vehicle headed west on Thomas Road. Then it made a left turn and hit Levine who rode a motorcycle east on Thomas Road.
 
When officers arrived at the intersection, they found Levine with serious injuries. They then transported her to a hospital to receive treatment. However, her injuries were too severe, and she died.
 
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene.
 
Detectives continue to investigate the accident.
