Jamie and Thomas Zehring Injured after Houston Hit-and-Run Collision

 
HOUSTON, TX (October 10, 2023) — Jamie Zehring and Thomas Zehring suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on Saturday, September 9.
 
According to Constable Mark Herman, deputies rushed to the 10200 block of Fallbrook Drive after receiving calls of a hit-and-run crash.
 
Footage shows a silver Chevy Silverado pickup truck with dark-tinted windows and a couple riding a motorcycle at the intersection of Perry and Fallbrook.
 
Then the pickup pulled in front of the motorcycle. After that, when both vehicles were at the intersection of Fallbrook and Sky Bird Lane, the pickup rammed into the motorcycle.
 
The impact of the incident forced the couple off the road and into a light pole. After that, they were ejected from the motorcycle.
 
Zehring said the next thing that happened was that the front of the truck hit her while she was lying on the ground with her husband.
 
The suspect then fled from the area.
 
Both Zehring and her husband Thomas, a disabled veteran, sustained injuries. Paramedics brought them both to Houston Healthcare Northwest for treatment.
 
Deputies continue to look for the driver or owner of the pickup. They described the vehicle as a silver or darker-colored GMC or Chevrolet 1500 pickup.
