Isa Alonzo Causes DUI Crash on 24th Avenue in Edinburg

 
EDINBURG, TX (October 16, 2023) – Police arrested Isa Marie Alonzo after a DUI crash on 24th Avenue on October 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Sprague Street around 6:39 PM. Based on a report, Alonzo was driving near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle jumped the cement curb on the turn around and hit another car on its right side.
 
As a result, the driver of the second car suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
Officers arrested Alonzo on a charge of intoxication assault causing serious bodily injury.
