Mya Jimenez and Ian Ellis Killed While Fleeing Police in Weatherford

 
WEATHERFORD, TX (February 16, 2024) – The Parker County Medical Examiner’s Office identified 20-year-old Ian Ellis and 19-year-old Mya Jimenez who died in a motorcycle accident on 20 Freeway on February 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Tin Top Road. Based on a report, Ellis fled the police while riding his 2015 Yamaha motorcycle with Jimenez as his passenger.
 
Subsequently, he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Tin Top Road and crashed into another vehicle. The impact ejected both victims from the bike.
 
As a result, Ellis and Jimenez suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
