Gustavo Suarez Identified in Fatal Rollover Crash in Guadalupe County
SEGUIN, TX (January 23, 2023) – Officials identified 22-year-old Gustavo Angel Suarez of San Antonio as one of the two victims who died in a crash on 10 Freeway on January 16.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near FM 725 around 7:30 AM. Based on a report, Suarez was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer on the highway.
As he tried to exit at FM 725, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll multiple times. At that time, the impact ejected four passengers into the roadway.
As a result, Suarez and his female passenger suffered grave injuries. Suarez died at University Hospital in San Antonio.
The woman died at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.
Crews took a 37-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 42-year-old man to Brooke Army Medical Center for treatment. Two of them are currently in critical condition and the third victim is in stable condition.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
