Gloria Hall Fatally Injured in Spanaway Car Accident on Highway 7
SPANAWAY, WA (September 10, 2024) — 81-year-old Gloria Hall died following a two-vehicle accident on Friday, August 30.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened on Highway 7 at 208th Street East at about 7:00 p.m.
The WSP incident report said Hall drove southbound on Highway 7 in the center turn lane. Then Hall turned left in front of a second vehicle that moved northbound on the highway. After that, her car hit the second vehicle.
Following the crash, Hall’s vehicle came to a stop on the northbound shoulder. Meanwhile, the second vehicle blocked the center turn lane.
Emergency responders transported Hall to MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced her dead.
The second driver, a 28-year-old Spanaway man, did not sustain any injuries.
Authorities said both drivers wore their seat belts.
The crash closed the roadway on Highway 7 for about two and a half hours.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
