German Garcia Dies After Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash on Highway 46
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 22, 2025) – German Garcia died following a motorcycle crash on Highway 46 on Sunday night, February 16.
The fatal incident involved a 1994 Honda off-road motorcycle and a 2002 Honda Civic, according to the California Highway Patrol which received a report at around 6:04 p.m.
Officials stated that the Honda motorcycle being driven by 28-year-old Garcia had traveled east on Highway 46 when he turned left onto Martin Avenue at a high rate of speed.
Garcia then slammed into the side of the Civic, operated by a 31-year-old Lost Hills man who headed west on Highway 46.
The accident left Garcia dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Civic survived but suffered minor injuries.
Authorities are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the collision.
As the investigation remains in progress, no further information is released at this time.
