ELGIN, AZ (February 21, 2023) – Police confirmed that four people died in a head-on accident on Highway 82 on February 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 3:50 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided head-on at milepost 43. As of now, the authorities have not released the details that led to the fatal crash.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced four people dead in the incident. Officials did not yet release their identities, pending contact with their families.
 
Also, the crash closed the westbound lanes of the highway to give way to crews and police activity in the area.
