BUCKEYE, AZ (August 29, 2024) – Officials confirmed that four children suffered injuries in a crash on 10 Freeway on August 7.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Verrado Way shortly before 9:00 PM. Based on a report, a Nissan SUV veered off the roadway, traveled over the concrete barrier, and crashed into another SUV in the westbound lanes.
 
Authorities said each vehicle had one adult and two juvenile passengers.
 
As a result, all four of the children in both cars sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital for treatment. Medics said two of them suffered severe injuries.
 
Crews also sent the woman driving the Nissan to the hospital.
